Friends, hope you are doing well. Sharing your internet with other device through mobile hotspot is common but sometime when you share it, other unknown device may also connect to your network. Then you will probably need a password for protecting your network from other unknown devices. It is very simple to make your mobile password protected. Follow up the following steps and make your mobile hotspot password protected within minutes.
Steps:1. First you need to start your Mobile data by enabling it.
2. Go to menu and select settings.
3. Go to Tethering and Mobile hotspot option.
4. Select Mobile hotspot.
5. Enable it.
6. A message will appear saying “Attention: Enabling Mobile hotspot will turn off Wi-Fi”. Just select OK.
7. Go to the three vertically placed dots located at the upper most right side of Mobile hotspot.
8. Select “Configure hotspot” from drop down list.
9. Give a name to your network in Network SSID. And in Security option, select” WPA2 PSK” instead of
"Open" option.
10. Give a password of at least 8 characters and select “save” option.
